South West Coast Way

Alas the diary for this day seems to have got lost somewhere along the way in all of the versions of this site that have existed over the years. The photos and map of the walk are not lost though so I post them here. Map of the day's walk:(click to enlarge)

It had been raining hard seemingly all night since I'd walked up from the 'bar' to go to bed. The sound of the rain was amplified on my tent with it being under trees that were being shaken by the winds. I woke up at 7am, but it was raining heavily and the forecast had promised that the rain would last until mid afternoon when I'd heard it the evening before. Sigh.. I am not being very lucky this year:( All down to the jetstream apparently, which at this time of year is normally north of Scotland but this year is slap bang over Cornwall. Typical huh! I just didn't know what to do.... I was in two minds whether to walk at all today. While I decided I went back to sleep:) lol:) I reawoke at about 8am and it sounded like the rain had actually stopped so i decided to at least get up and showered and have some breakfast. I got up slightly later than of late at Treveague Farm campsite, as I'd decided to move today. It was now getting a little bit far to travel to and from the day's walk. I'd seen a naturist campsite at Downderry on the internet before coming away and thought I'd give that a go for a giggle. I also thought it might be cheaper than other campsites around here... Treveague being 15 quid per night plus shower tokens! I had a shower and bought some milk from the shop for my cereals. I packed up the tent roughly and not worrying about whether it dried out or not, as I hoped to be putting it up again asap. The sky was milky cloudy, but the forecast had said that rain would be heading in yet again today. I'd sort of planned last night to not have a total day off, but just do a short walk today after having moved the tent etc. Looking at the map it seemed like the stretch from Polperro to Looe would be an ideal length for what would be half a day no doubt by the time I'...
